Basic First Aid
Course Aims:
This course teaches you how to safely manage the scene at an accident by carrying out the necessary checks and maintaining the airway, breathing and circulation of the injured party. You will learn the required skill to treat bleeding and fractures, burns and head injuries. Participants will be able to provide basic life support (CPR) and will be skilled in treatment and recognition of concussion and compression.
Course Certification:
Basic First Aid Certificate (Valid for 2 years)
Course content:
On completion of this course participants will be confident in the skills of treatment of shock, concussion, burns, scalds and the care of unconscious persons.
